A hygiene passport is required for people who handle sensitive, unpackaged food.
The course covers the information needed to pass the hygiene passport test. We will briefly go through topics such as hygienic working methods, how to prevent food spoilage, self-monitoring, and official supervision of food premises.
The national hygiene passport test by the Finnish Food Authority will be held at the end of the course. Those who pass the test will receive the hygiene passport required for working with food. Participants must bring a valid ID to the exam! (e.g. driver’s license, moped license, residence permit, identity card).
In addition to the course fee, the hygiene passport itself costs € 9, which will be invoiced to those who pass the test.
